This policy explains what information Celva ("Celva," "we," "us") collects when you use the Celva mobile app, and how we use, share, and protect it.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Basic account info — your name and email address, via email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
- Profile info you provide during onboarding — age range, skin type, and skin concerns.
- Content you create in the app — your skincare routines, product inventory, activity logs, notes, and any photos you upload for product scans, skin analysis, or progress tracking.
- Your conversations with Celvie, our AI assistant, including any images you share in chat.
If you use Guest Mode, your data is stored only on your device and is not synced to our servers unless you later create an account.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide and personalize the app — Celvie uses your profile, routine, and product data to give relevant answers.
- Maintain your account and sync your data across devices.
- Respond to support requests.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the app.
We do not sell your personal information.
How your information is shared
We share information with a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Supabase — provides our database, authentication, and backend infrastructure. Your account data, profile, routines, products, and chat history are stored with Supabase.
- OpenRouter — routes your Celvie chat messages and any images you share in chat to the underlying AI model (currently Claude, by Anthropic) in order to generate a response. This happens server-side; the AI provider never receives your account credentials.
If you choose to link your Celva account with a spa or esthetician's CRM, that business can view the routine and progress information you agree to share, and can message you through the app. Your Celvie conversations are never shared with a spa, other users, or any third party.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Celva, our users, or others.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app — see Account Deletion for instructions.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@celva.app.
Children's privacy
Celva is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
